A Fiber laser cutting machine is a highly precise system that integrates optics, mechanics, electronics, and computer technology. Its performance not only depends on the machine itself, but also on correct usage and
regular maintenance. Proper care ensures stable production, high-quality results, and extended machine lifespan.
Daily Maintenance
Clean the machine bed, cutting head, and sensors to remove dust and dirt.
Clear away flammable items (e.g., gloves, cloth scraps) to prevent fire risks.
Empty scrap bins to allow smooth material discharge.
Check gas regulator pressure before starting to ensure cutting quality.
Inspect chiller and clean filters to prevent overheating.
Check all air and water pipe connections for leaks.
Clean protective and focusing lenses for cutting accuracy and lens longevity.
Remove dust from the Z-axis sensor to avoid limit alarms.
Monthly Maintenance
Clean and lubricate guide rails and racks.
Check oil levels in the pneumatic/hydraulic system and refill if needed.
Blow dust from the electrical cabinet with dry air.
Clean limit switches to ensure accurate homing.
Drain water from the air compressor.
Quarterly Maintenance
Check and tighten all transmission screws, including those on the cutting head.
Replace distilled water in the chiller.
Inspect and replace cutting blades (carbon steel) as needed.
Safety Note: Always turn off the power before performing maintenance.
