3015 vs 6015: Choose by Running Your Own Numbers

If you run a metal shop, the real question isn’t which machine is bigger. It’s which format fits your sheets, parts, floor space, and monthly volume.

If most of your work uses 3 m sheets and your floor space is limited, the 3015 is usually the practical choice. It handles everyday plates well. If you rarely cut 6 m sheets, don’t pay for extra length.

6015: Full 6 m Sheets and Long Parts
However, if you regularly buy 6000 × 1500 mm sheets or cut long structural parts, the 6015 removes a step. The operator can load the full sheet directly. Nesting gets the full 6000 mm length, which can reduce drop and make long parts easier to nest. But savings depend on your parts. Test your own DXFs.

• Space: The 6015 needs 3 extra meters plus loading, forklift, and operator clearance. If your bay can’t handle it, don’t buy it.
